Amy has a passion for movement. A competitive gymnast in her youth, Amy transitioned though several sports and activities throughout her life including track and field, long distance running, competitive cheering and tumbling, swimming, collegiate sailing, and martial arts. Most recently, Amy has completed several sprint triathlons, two Olympic distance triathlons and continues to train year round for upcoming races and events. In her personal practice, Pilates is a not an option but a necessity. Amy believes unequivocally that Pilates keeps her muscles strong, her strength balanced and her body injury free through all of her varied training, sports and interests.
Amy is currently in comprehensive training under Julie Erickson at Endurance Pilates in Boston, MA for classical, authentic Pilates and is working toward her PMA (Pilates Method Alliance) certification.

Pre and post natal, competitive athletes, seniors, children, clients with diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis/osteopenia, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, M.S., knee, shoulder and lower back injuries, herniated or bulging discs, recent knee or hip replacements, and various other orthopedic concerns. Erin Hamilton | Pilates
Previously a professional dancer with extensive classical training, Erin has branched off into teaching a range of fitness styles with a focus in private, equipment based, Pilates instruction. Erin graduation from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA in 2006 with her BA (Marketing), and is Pilates certified with Powerhouse Pilates (PHI) and Kelly Kane School of Core Integration, both based out of NYC.
Erin teaches all levels of mat and equipment classes as well as private training sessions utilizing all Pilates equipment. Her sessions often involve a heavy focus on biomechanics, and Erin has experience dealing with compromised clients who have multiple physical issues. She has also worked as a theraputic Pilates instructor at H&D Physical Therapy (New York City) - Working with physical therapy patients to help them transition from PT based work and stay functional in daily life by the use of pre-Pilates methods and basic equipment work.
Sue Percival | Pilates | Barre | TRX
Originally from Cleveland, Sue discovered her love for Pilates while living in Seattle with her family. With an extensive background in pediatric respiratory critical care, she brings a passion to help others feel better in a calming and positive atmosphere. The focus of her clinical career was optimizing lung function and breathing dynamics to allow for healing.
Outside of the hospital setting, Sue has many years of experience in exercise and fitness including aerobics, long distance cycling, and tae kwon do. Sue has found her true exercise "calling" with Pilates, though, which uses "breathing" as one of its key principles. She now enjoys teaching clients to use their breath to increase body awareness and improve lung capacity - a natural extension of her professional career.
Sue is comprehensively certified by Balanced Body Pilates in all apparatus.
Olivia Evans | Yoga | Pilates
Olivia began practicing yoga in 2008 and immediately fell in love. Her less traditional path of training started with completing a 480-hour internship in 2012 under Maggie Fiorella Winter, OTR/L RYT 200. She has since continued her yoga education under nationally and internationally renowned teachers: Yoga as Medicine with Timothy McCall & Lauren Toolin, Empower Flow Yoga with Seane Corn, Journey to Advanced Asanas with Liz Owen, Celebrating Yoga Teachers & Professionalism in Yoga with Amy Ippoliti, and Yoga for Core Strength with Aim Healthy U.
In 2011, she participated in a year-long service project through Off the Mat, Into the World, raising significant funds and awareness for rescue and rehabilitation of sex trafficking survivors in India. In 2013, her undergraduate thesis, Prenatal Yoga's Effects on Women's Sleep, Pain, Mindfulness, Stress & Mood won Endicott College's Andler Thesis Award in Psychology. Most recently, she was the manager of a start-up yoga studio in Haverhill MA and now teaches exclusively at Oxygen Mind & Body in Andover MA.
After completing in-house training at Oxygen Mind & Body under owner Amy Cieslik, she is now beginning to meld her two fitness passions, yoga and Pilates, together. She is also a Contributing Writer for Sivana Spirit & a Guest Blogger for FitProNow. Olivia’s classes are heart-centered and focus on breath. Her practice is grounded in the belief: “breathe and everything changes”.
Melissa Rutherford | TRX | Kickboxing
A life long "fat girl" and competitive active girl, Melissa became committed to exercise and healthy lifestyle in her early twenties. Over three years she lost 130 lbs and made physical activity a must have activity. Having discovered both Pilates and Yoga, Melissa assists behind the desk, and has been inspired to teach; becoming a certified Tae Kwon Do, Spinning and TRX Instructor.
Marisa Morello | Pilates
Marisa's pilates journey began 16 years ago. After achieving her dream of working in publishing she quickly learned that sitting all day was making her back very unhappy! After just a month of Pilates sessions her back issues went away and she began to have a new dream: helping others feel as good as she did!
She began teaching Classical Pilates in 2003 and has worked in studios throughout Greater Boston, Southern New Hampshire and Greater Toronto. She is fully certified in all levels of mat, tower, reformer, cadillac, chair, barrels, foot corrector, spine corrector, balls, bands, magic circle and the foam roller. In addition to her comprehensive certifications, Marisa has completed many workshops ranging from anatomy to functional movement including a special certification from the Pink Ribbon Program's “Pilates for Post-Surgical Breast Cancer Patients”.

Marisa graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition with honors where she received a diploma in Holistic Nutrition. As a student she had a case study published for educational material. She now runs her own business as a holistic nutrition consultant called Eating to Feel Good. Marisa specializes in digestive health with a focus on special dietary needs including eating for IBS, ADHD, Type 2 Diabetes, balancing thyroid and other hormones, sports nutrition, celiac, food allergies and sensitivities.
Alyssa Dedrick | Pilates
Alyssa started her journey with Pilates over 10 years ago when she was a competitive figure skater. Pilates gave her the core strength to center her spins, the endurance to skate faster and longer, and the strength to jump higher than before. Alyssa began to study Pilates instruction in 2006 and continues to do so.
Alyssa is BodyAccess Certified in both Pilates Mat and Reformer. She also recently completed Endurance Mat I, II, and III trainings as a part of furthering her personal and professional Pilates practice. Alyssa has a BA in Psychology and currently is the Director of a Family Resource center at Beverly’s Northshore Education Consortium. She hopes to assist any individual that is looking to better themselves by way of mind and body.
Sheila Wescott | Yoga
Sheila first stepped into a yoga class in an ongoing effort to keep her "workout routine" new and exciting. She instantly realized the yoga studio was a far cry from the gym, and found an immediate connection with yoga. As Sheila's practice continued, she discovered a stretch and lengthening in her body that she had never experienced before. She also found a sense of inner peace that truly began her spiritual journey which continues today.
Life presented an amazing opportunity for Sheila to obtain her 200 hour teaching certification through a month-long intensive program at Frog Lotus Yoga, located in The Berkshires of Massachusetts. Sheila's studies included asana, pranayama, anatomy, and Yogic philosophy and culminated in her certification to teach both Vinyasa Flow and Hatha Interdisciplinary Yoga. Sheila’s continuing education has resulted in two additional certifications: ChildLight Yoga for children ages 2 to 13 years, and Om Births prenatal yoga.
Sheila's intention is to create a warm, nurturing environment in which students can discover the amazing capabilities of their own bodies while remaining spiritually grounded and self-loving.
Adriana Lopes | TRX | Barre | POUND | Pilates
Adriana is currently a hard working nursing student at Salem State University with a concentration in working as a neonatal nurse with premature newborns. Her whole life she struggled with body image. At the age of 11 she had her first of multiple knee surgeries. These surgeries made it hard to do any high impact exercises and fueled her weight gain. Finally at the age of 22 in May 2015 she decided she needed to find something that worked for her to end the vicious cycle. That's when she found Barre. She fell in love with the challenging intensity of the workout that was accessible to all ages and body types. Her mat became her favorite place to be and that one hour she devoted to herself a day became her happy place where all her troubles disappeared.
In September 2015 she decided to further her fitness journey and enrolled in The Barre and Soul 100 hour Barre Instructor training program. Her training involved everything from hands on adjustments to injury modifications and shaped her to become the knowledgeable, enthusiastic instructor she is today. She continued her fitness journey by getting certified as a POUND instructor which became one of her favorite ways to get cardio in and let off any stress from the day. She later also trained in TRX and loved how it challenged her to use her core in new ways. Adriana is currently in training for Pilates Mat, Reformer, Tower, Cadillac, Chair and Ladder Barrel.
Vivian Varbedian | TRX | Kickboxing
Vivian’s love of kickboxing began in Los Angeles, Calif. in 2000 when she joined HKD Martial Arts Academy with had a strong foundation in practicality, physical fitness, and an emphasis onmental/spiritual growth. An incentive to start the sport was to get a total body workout in one class and feel strong as you learn a form of self-defense. Martial Arts and Kickboxing challenges your body to work as a whole for head-to-toe. Her strong passion for Martial Arts, lead to earning her Black Belt and becoming an instructor. She loves seeing clients transform as they improve coordination, strength, and endurance. Her goal is to be supportive and energetic. Vivian believes hard work coupled with encouragement will bring out the best in people.
After a recent back injury, Vivian found rehabilitation at Oxygen Mind and Body turning to Pilates to regain her strength and flexibility. It was during this period of rehabilitation that she developed her passion for Pilates and its benefits to overall physical performance. As her strength and flexibility increased so did her intensity. She quickly found a new love for TRX and the ability to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and joint stability simultaneously. So it is no surprise that she quickly became a fan, mixing in her experience and love of Martial Arts with TRX for an all in one workout. In her class, you will get a great workout, have a good time, and leave feeling successful. The combined class of kickboxing and TRX is the best workout you'll ever experience and will tone you from head to toe.
